Local Education

Bisbee's student population is under the jurisdiction of Bisbee Unified School District #2, which features small class sizes and top-rated career and athletic programs. Schools within this district include Greenway Elementary School, Lowell Junior High School, Bisbee High School, and Digital Center for Advanced Learning. Bisbee High School was most recently named a Bronze Medal Winner by nationally-renowned publication U.S. News and World Report.

For higher education, students may choose from a number of nearby colleges that are all within commutable distance from Bisbee, including Cochise College, Pima Community College, and the University of Arizona.

Hospitals and Health Care

Residents of Bisbee have four local medical centers and hospital to choose from, with each providing the utmost in general and preventative health care. Copper Queen Community Hospital is located in the city of Bisbee, while Southeast Arizona Medical Center and Sierra Regional Health Center are located in Douglas and Sierra Vista, respectively. Residents may also travel to Benson Hospital, which is about a half-hour drive away from the heart of Bisbee.
